Commissioning the new “Viking Jupiter”, the sixth Fincantieri cruise ship for the Viking Cruises shipowning company. A project that has seen our intense participation from the production point of view. “Viking Jupiter”, is positioned in the market segment of small units: it has a gross tonnage of about 47,800 tons, is equipped with 465 cabins and can accommodate 930 passengers on board.
Designed by highly experienced naval architects and engineers, it has a modern Scandinavian-inspired design, characterized by a sophisticated yet functional elegance. In addition to the cabins, each with a private balcony, it features spacious suites with expansive views, two swimming pools, a wellness area designed according to the philosophy of well-being typical of the Nordic countries, with sauna and snow cave.
The Viking are built according to the latest navigation regulations and provided with the most modern security systems, including the “Safe return to port”.
