Viking IX and X are part of a series of ships that the shipping company Viking Ocean Cruises has commissioned from Fincantieri.  

Scope of Works MWS:

Main activities:

• Construction of hull sections, prefabrication, and assembly of blocks.
• Installation of structural pipes and new technologies for fire-fighting systems, diesel, sea water, fresh water, drinking water, bilge water, steam.

Material Statistics:

• Tons of structural steel and plates for hull sections: about 2,000 Tons
• Installation of structural and service pipes: approximately 10,000 meters
